Growing up in the mountains near Estes Park, CO was the perfect canvas to grow up in.  Then I moved to the beach in California – another nice canvas to live by.  Loving my time outside and exploring my creativity, I dabbled in all kinds of media.  I’ve even done some creative writing, but painting captures not only the context and color, but the soul of the area.

I’m always on the hunt for the interesting painting- from stopping along a roadway and painting in Plein Air to taking a photo of the light as it reflects off the stream while I’m fly fishing or an interesting scene to paint in the studio. My hope is that my art makes you feel the emotion and would like to have it on your wall.
